Peripatetic Manager

I have a fantastic opportunity for a Peripatetic Manager to work for a large community care based organisation. For the initial first 3 months you will be based at the services based in Gloucester, your role will be to manage services in times of change to ensure the continuity of compliant, safe and effective services which meet customer, client and financial needs.
- Lead and direct day to day operational management of services, ensuring that available resources are used effectively to enable the provision of a good quality service
- Ensure that all staff working within the home receive regular supervision, in accordance with the companies policy
- Ensure that the home offers a safe environment geared to creating opportunities for the personal development of service users, taking into account practical, physical and emotional needs
- Participate in the areas on call management system as required
- Ensure that the home is run in accordance with good Health and Safety practice and legal requirements
- Ensure that maintenance and equipment renewal needs are communicated to the relevant person
- Undertake visitors in other homes should this be required
- Support the companies Disciplinary & Grievance processes, as required, including involvement in Investigations and the Chairing of Disciplinary Hearings if need be
- Registered Manager award or similar relevant professional qualification also essential
- NVQ5 Health & Social Care or willing to work towards desirable but not essential
- Full, current driving licence desirable (may be essential for some services)
- Comprehensive knowledge of relevant current statutory legislation and good practice principals
- Proven knowledge of key needs and services for multiple client groups
- Proven experience of working with multiple client groups
Salary: Up to £35,000 - £40,000 dependent on experience
