Registered Nurse
I am recruiting for Registered Nurses, this is for a specialist service based in Macclesfield. You will join a team of qualified staff to provide nursing for older people, residential care, dementia care and support for adults with Parkinson's. Short-term and respite requirements are welcomed, as are convalescence and palliative needs.
You will be responsible for the well-being of our residents, including making sure their physical, emotional and social needs are met whilst leading, motivating and mentoring your team and delivering clinical guidance and training to ensure the safe, smooth and efficient running of the care home.
Night shifts only required!
You will need to be RGN or RMN qualified in order to apply for this position.
DUTIES:
- Undertake medication administration in accordance with best practice and prevailing NMC guidance and the companies policies and procedures
- Carry out all duties in a safe manner having regard for the health, safety and welfare of self, staff, residents and visitors and report accidents as necessary
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate person centered care for each individual that meets their needs and demonstrates outcomes within the expected time scales
- Establish and maintain good relationships with all external bodies and commissioners
- Ensure individuals receive a nutritious diet and adequate hydration in accordance with their plan of care
Provide coaching, training and support to junior staff when applicable
EXPERIENCE:
- Registered Nurse - RGN or RMN qualified
- Experience within a nursing / care home environment
- Passion for nursing and delivering high quality care
- All applicants must have a valid NMC pin
SALARY: £17.05 per hour - DOE - plus additional benefits
